Location: Perrysburg, Ohio (on-site position)
Core Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET (on-site)
Job Duties
- Develop, test, and implement new algorithms and workflows using commercial and publicly available imagery.
- Collaborate with the Professional Services team to define algorithm objectives and train team members.
- Collaborate with the Technical team to integrate algorithms and processes to the cloud platform.
- Provide expert guidance and support for company-wide remote sensing initiatives.
- Participate in client meetings as a technical expert.
- Analyze and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to optimize workflows and deliverables.
- Lead/Collaborate research initiatives in specialized remote sensing applications.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Remote Sensing, Geology, Geoscience, Geography, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience with remote sensing data through education, research, or work experience.
- Proficiency in GIS software and spatial analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
- Experience with image processing and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with machine learning applications in remote sensing.
- Familiarity with multiple satellite platforms (e.g., Sentinel-2, Landsat, WorldView).
- Knowledge of various imagery types (multispectral, hyperspectral, SAR).
- Experience with remote sensing software (e.g., ENVI, ERDAS IMAGINE).
- Publication record or conference presentations in related fields.
